Kathryn  Merwin

Kathryn Merwin is a native of Washington, D.C. She recently graduated with degrees in English and Art from Salisbury University on Maryland's eastern shore. She is currently an MFA candidate at Western Washington University. Her interests include pit bulls, charcoal drawing, and Stevie Nicks. She can be contacted directly here.

She was the grateful recipient of the 2015 Nancy D. Hargrove Editors' Prize for Poetry, as well at the 2016 Blue Earth Review Annual Poetry Prize. She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize by Jabberwock Review, the 2016 Dogwood Poetry Prize, and an AWP Intro Journal Award. In addition to Milk Journal, she currently reads for Bellingham Review, and previously served as Managing Editor of The Scarab

 

 

Kathryn's favorite type of milk is whole (with a straw).
