Kathryn Merwin is a native of Washington, D.C. She recently graduated with degrees in English and Art from Salisbury University on Maryland's eastern shore. She is currently an MFA candidate at Western Washington University. She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize by Jabberwock Review, the 2016 Dogwood Poetry Prize, and an AWP Intro Journal Award. In addition to Milk Journal, she currently reads for Bellingham Review, and previously served as Managing Editor of The Scarab.
